Oblique plug-in mixer- Introduction
Stirring is a complex process that involves various principles in physics such as fluid mechanics, heat and mass transfer, and chemical reactions. Essentially, the stirring process is the transfer of momentum in the flow field, or a comprehensive process that includes the transfer of momentum, heat, mass, and chemical reactions. Mixing equipment is a device that inputs mechanical energy to other parts by creating a suitable flow field for the mixing medium. It mainly consists of a mixing device, a mixing tank, and a shaft and shaft seal.
1. Agitator (also known as stirring blade) and stirring shaft: By rotating themselves, the material in the stirring container forms a circulating flow in the container. The shape of the propeller blades varies, which affects the power consumption, mixing purpose, and discharge volume of the mixer.
2. Mixing container (also known as mixing tank or mixing tank): provides a mixing site or tank/pool body.
3. Transmission device: There are generally two types of gearboxes: belt driven gearboxes and gear driven gearboxes.
4. Shaft seal: a device that seals the shaft of a mixer, such as a single end seal.
